Congratulations to our afilliate faculty member, Laura Palombi, who received the St. Louis County Public Health Achievement Award in recognition of the extensive work she has done in the area of substance abuse prevention and intervention. Palombi is also an assistant professor in the College of Pharmacy Duluth. The Center for Bioethics is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty to assist with day to day operations of the UMMC Clinical Ethics Consultation Service and manage the implementation of the strategic plan for enhancing the service. This adjunct appointment does not include teaching or research.
• Conduct clinical ethics consults at UMMC-Fairview, carrying the pager to respond to requests for consults
• Create an implementation plan and carry out implementation of the Center’s strategic plan for enhancing the clinical ethics consult service
