Upcoming talk on Healthcare Ethics and Environmental Sustainability by Affiliate Faculty Member

Dr. Jameton, an affiliate faculty member of the Center for Bioethics since 2016, will be speaking at an upcoming symposium of the American Philosophical Association's on Healthcare Ethics and Environmental Sustainability.
 
Jameton's main research interest is in philosophical issues surrounding health care adaptation to climate change. He is also working with the Center’s committee on moral distress in nursing and other professions. He conducts a continuing informal course at the Center “Climate & Health Study Group,” which is an activity of Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate. Dr. Jameton is professor emeritus of Health Promotion, Social and Behavioral Health department at the the College of Public Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He also serves as a member ofr the Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate on campus.
